AFRICAN GREY IN TSEM LADRANG AVIARY
The Tsem Ladrang Aviary is a sanctuary for birds where a clean environment with music, fresh water, food and toys are provided to the resident birds everyday.
Tsem Rinpoche has always loved birds and it breaks his heart when he sees them poorly cared for or mistreated, especially in pet shops. Hence, many of the birds in the our aviary are from Rinpoche's “rescue” missions from the pet shops.
Among these, we have 2 beautiful African Greys - Aki and Jamyang. This website is dedicated to provide information about these intelligent birds, and also tips on how to care for them.
